Performing Arts

LUMBERYARD, formerly known as the American Dance Institute, is a leading-edge arts center offering residencies to performance artists, as well as events and performances that are open to the public.

Located in Catskill, NY, LUMBERYARD is the first place in the U.S. designed to allow artists to explore their creation, to test, experiment and bring their vision to life immediately before premiere.

The LUMBERYARD contemporary performing arts center hosts technical residences for performance artists who need access to a theater, studio, event space, production staff, and more to bring their vision to life. The benefit of the center is that artists-in-residence can live, eat, even do their laundry, right at the center.
