Leadership Columbia-Greene

Discover Your Community, Discover Yourself

Leadership Columbia-Greene is a dynamic, community-based program designed to develop informed, action-oriented leaders to meet the future challenges of our area.

A community, like a business, can only operate well when people are willing to step forward and take leadership roles. The new Columbia-Greene Leadership program of the Columbia and Greene County Chambers of Commerce has been designed to prepare emerging leaders to lead their businesses and community.

The Leadership Columbia-Greene program offers an opportunity for individuals to develop leadership, team building, and strategic thinking skills. As participants explore styles, examine options, establish relationships, and participate in networking opportunities they make a valuable contribution to their employer, organization, and the community.
For over 20 years there have been Leadership Programs in Columbia and Greene County. This year, under the leadership of the Columbia and Greene County Chambers, the programs have been combined to establish the most dynamic local program yet.

To obtain an application or for more information contact the Greene County Chamber of Commerce by email or phone at 518-943-4222.

Women in Business

Women in Business

Our Women in Business program is special. Featured four times yearly, each event is tailored towards today’s businesswomen and professionals. Attendees enjoy a networking dinner or lunch and great camaraderie along with a special guest speaker. Each speaker is a local businesswoman, discussing different themes and topics to provide a different point-of-view for our attendees. At every event, we select a Women in Business Honoree, in recognition of achievement and success as a woman professional, entrepreneur, and community leader.
